Deciding on which affiliate program to join is a decision between what's worth it & what's a waste of your time & sometimes its not about how much the affiliate program pays but rather are these profits on an on-going basis. I for one would rather earn $20 per referral with a site that has active users who'll earn me another $20 in high numbers as opposed to making $150 per month of 1 or 2 referrals. All the listed affiliate programs are free to join & I also wouldn't advise affiliate programs that allow you to join provided you're a customer. Without wasting any more time

The Best Affiliate Marketing Programs

1. Google Apps

if you are not a US resident you may pass on this one to the next. Google Apps affiliate program earns you $15 per referral. Unfortunately you have to be approved with a valid US or Canadian taxpayer ID number and bank account for direct deposits. I love the part about direct deposits, you won't have to worry about the 2% Paypal deducts & a further withdrawal fee from the bank.

2. Dating Sites

• Match| pay per lead| up to $8 per lead

• Cupid| pay per sale| up to $135 per paid user

The best dating affiliate program is Friend Finder because Friend Finder is a dating site affiliate network, so there are other dating sites to promote & more earning opportunities. or more dating sites select "Dating Sites"

3. Online Stores

• Amazon| pay per sale| 4-7% per sale, increases as you lead more sales

• Shopify| Pay per sale| up to $358 per sale. 2 earning options: 200% once off commission or 20%/month on sale bill

I wouldn't say online stores are ranked high in affiliate marketing as items bought from stores such as iTunes may be an album worth $9,99 & even a 40% commission doesn't motivate the affiliate as much. further more, Shopify is a bit complex for the novice affiliate as you may find yourself stagnant on your dashboard. If you do join Shopify however, its best you always choose the 200% once off commission.

4. Stock Trading

An affiliate network is a site where other companies and advertisers joined to have their products hosted by the affiliate network. An affiliate network has affiliate programs from different companies within their site & programs are categorised. The best affiliate networks with the best affiliate programs that require no pending approval are:

• Click Bank| commissions of up to 75%. Click Bank is great for any new affiliate since it has webinars, a forum, training, how to use site traffic, Google Adwords keyword advice to reign in your nich & further advice for new & existing affiliates. Affiliate categories include but not limited to: Arts, Investing, Employment, Software, Travel & Sports. Earn an average of $18 - $75 per sale varies per merchant product. ClickBank also lists offers by form of gravity = the scale on ClickBank offers that determine how successful the merchant's product is among other succussful affiliate marketers

• Ratuken's LinkShare| up to 65% in commissions & up to $75 per sale depending on the affiliate program. LinkShare requires just a few minutes to understand as soon as you know how to use links & other affiliate tools you will be earning commissions per different offer. Categories include but not limited to: Automart, Careers, Financial Services, Office, Telecommunications.

• Share A Sale & Commission Junction, now known as CJ are 2 other affiliate networks worth joining. Although these affiliate networks require approval & in this case that means you have to own your site & it shouldn't be a third hosted site (.wordpress.com, .wix.com, .weebly.com) etc. The commissions in these affiliate networks are worth the approval. Share A Sale on the other hand though, is not easy for beginners to understand & get started in due time.

• Offerforge is great for affiliates from South Africa & various other countries. This is another affiliate network with various offers from online competitions, insurance, loans, Pay Per Lead(PPL) for car test drive bookings etc...

• Admarula is just like Offerforge but exclusive to South African traffic and reccommended if you're familiar with Banner ads & HTML coding. Not recommended for new affiliates unless you learn how to code. To do this use Wordpad from your laptop or any device that supports it.
